How can you find fair and quality professionals? How will you know what the final outcome will be?
How will you know what and how much your expenses will be? Read more about me and you’ll see that I can accompany you through your renovation process
I arrived in Manchester as a community emissary on behalf of the Jewish Agency. The company of community centers had recommended me while I was managing the community center in the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem. I met my husband Paul during my year’s mission in Manchester, but he was reluctant to move to Israel during the first few years of our marriage. So we agreed to start our life in England and continue to Israel at some point. I studied a new profession – interior design – and between the births of our children, I designed luxurious lampshades that were marketed worldwide, and in 1996 I established my interior design and architecture office in Manchester.
With the knowledge and managerial experience I gained, I felt that the blending of cultures I experienced, and the community-oriented social approach that developed within me since my youth, provided me with diverse tools to plan, manage, listen, translate concerns and dreams into plans, and develop good relationships, not only with my clients, but also with the various suppliers with whom I have worked for many years.
Despite the extensive experience and knowledge I have, I share my clients' deliberations and decision-making, seeing the big picture on the one hand, but also the small details on the other.
All of this is done with a smile, patience, care, and energy. Each project is as unique as each of you, so you will love living in a home that has been carefully designed for you.
I invest in various details to create high-level and detailed plans and various resolutions, with a practical and hands-on approach, maintaining the budget that has been defined and translated into plan details. I also make sure to get discounts for you that ease the many expenses, and reduce wasted time and errors.
It is also important to me to maintain the schedule as the planning and procurement stages progress with you and for you. This service is part of managing the project schedule, which is built based on your requests and job descriptions.
To improve my level of knowledge and exposure to new technology and products, I invest heavily in staying up-to-date on products and trends coming to market, whether by participating in conferences and exhibitions, reading professional literature in various media, and joining professional forums.
As a graduate of a green construction course, I incorporate the principles of energy conservation, sustainable quality of life, and health in the home space into various projects, raising your energy and creating harmonious lives in your family, in your relationship, and in your own place.
The service basket includes advice on choosing the latest materials, assistance in purchasing cladding materials, lighting and furniture, various visualizations and top-level supervision until the completion of the renovation/construction and furnishing of the house, with the help of a professional and reliable team that works with me.
The firm's team can also provide management services during the project's renovation.
My specializations:
Design for the religious sector: As a religious person, I am intimately familiar with the unique characteristics of kosher, religious, and ultra-Orthodox families and specialize in adapting the design to the needs of kosher kitchens and storage space for Passover and Shabbat utensils, hospitality, family size, privacy in bedrooms, bookcase design, Judaica utensils, Sukkah, and more.
Because I enjoy decorating homes and also designing tables for entertaining that incorporate candlesticks, centerpieces, tablecloths, and flower arrangements, I can purchase various decorative accessories at fair prices.
Managing renovation or property purchase for overseas residents: As a child, I was the daughter of an educational missionary. After managing a community center, I went on a community mission in England myself and lived there for several years. So I know the variety of cultures and help foreign residents and new and old immigrants renovate their property or purchase, build or without communication difficulties with the operators and authorities. These clients expect comprehensive solutions and no headaches in a country with a different culture.
Of course, I have the support of various professionals around me who assist me and my clients, such as an attorney, appraiser, mortgage advisor, building inspector, repairman, contractor, residents, and many suppliers in the field of furniture, lighting, home furnishings, various artists, suppliers of ceramics and sanitary ware. They are all reliable and professional people who take the headache out of it for you and me.
Design for the elderly: Over the years, my parents and uncles and I have also grown older, and this has developed in me a sensitivity and knowledge of the needs of this age that are embedded in design, including proper lighting, safety accessories, special equipment in bathrooms, appropriate furniture, and accessibility of homes and rooms, including apartments in assisted living.
