Neve Daniel's Prayer
At the Neve Daniel Mikveh, I redesigned the spaces with privacy and comfort in mind. I planned a new division, including building a curved wall outside that concealed the entrance and a quick exit door that was installed in place of the old laundry room area.
As part of the process, I engaged the women of the community and invited them to send words and feelings that the words “mikveh” and “night of immersion” evoke in them. From the dialogue emerged the desire to create a mikveh that looks and feels like a spa. Accordingly, I designed spaces with a clean look, with a combination of parquet floors that convey warmth and elegance – a timeless design that will always look inviting and impressive.
